Okay here is a quick update on everything we have been up to, all at once. 

Lots of good food is being cooked while memories with new and old friends are being made. We came to realize last night that Splendid has been our home for just over three years. For the first time since we have moved her to Mexico we had some visitors our own age come to try out "living aboard". Our visitors, Cat and Alexis are both originally from the Outer Banks like Michael and I. We opened our home and tried our best to enlighten them of the wonders of the Mexican culture. The stayed with us for about two weeks and then headed back to life in California.  It is always interesting to have guests in your house but I promise its more interesting on a sailboat. They came and you have to give them that. No one else of their age has made the trip. Good or bad it was an experience that can not be taken away. One that is different from most in many ways. One that gave them friendship, knowledge, and most important time which always seems to run out. Except when in Mexico. So sit back. Relax and take some time to look through what Mexico brought to all of us these past few weeks.

The girls met a friendly local whose mother was a Yaqui. He made beautiful hand whittled wooden pieces.
