Bahia de Tortugas (turtle bay)

11/24 - 11/27

not too sure where we left off... somewhere talking about Cedros Island. we had an awesome sail passing Isla Natividad. dodging lobster pots and pangas. warm and beautiful out, finally a bathing suit day. we dropped anchor at 14:30 in tortuga bay. a few of our new friends were there. we had dinner with our new friends on 'sweet dreams' a 36' catalina.  we took the dinghy into town and went to Moroco restaurant for some great food and decent wifi. updated the blog, checked the weather, and called our families. the water was warm so we all jumped in with our bars of soap. we left turtle bay 11/26 at 8:30 and sailed 46 miles to Bahia de Asuncion, where we are now. on the way down we sailed wing and wing for a while. dad caught a football yellowfin tuna and another mahi. i made a sashimi platter for lunch. we were surprised to see our old friends 'sweet dreams' and 'gemini' waiting for us here in Asucion. we will be sitting here for a few days waiting out a front that should be coming down tomorrow.

ok so this post is stuff from quite a while ago. we have 3 more posts to upload but the internet is just really slow in the past few harbors we've been to (if we even get it). so just keep following our spot tracker and keep checking for updates, hopefully in a week we'll be back up to date.

    Love your NC shirt.
Do you find it odd your hair is longer than your gf's hair?
Good job eating fresh fruit when you can. Keeps away the scurvy.
Awesome tuna!! And the pics of the fish coming up the side of the boat are freaking amazing! You'll have to sell them to lure and fishing companies for $.
